Our volunteers have been making a difference in the lives of Canadians through their generous contributions of time, skill and commitment. However, millions of us are still at risk and will be for generations to come. There is still so much to do and there are so many ways to help. What are the Volunteer Opportunities? Anyone can become a Heart and Stroke Foundation volunteer: you can give as much or as little time as you choose. We have various positions available. February is Heart Month and our annual Heart Month Campaign requires the combined efforts of more than 4,500 volunteers to go door-to-door for a few hours this February. This campaign helps us raise much needed funded to support life-saving research and health promotion programs for Nova Scotians.
