Outstanding Volunteer Awards 2009

On April 24th, 30 volunteers from across Nova Scotia were awarded the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia’s Outstanding Volunteer Award at a reception at the Lord Nelson Hotel in Halifax. These volunteers were recognized for their exceptional and dedicated service to the Foundation. The event was hosted by the Honourable Mayann E. Francis, Lieutenant Governor of Nova Scotia (and honourary patron of HSFNS), along with Ian MacDonald, Chair of the Board of the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
This year, we also presented the inaugural Community Spirit Award to Eleftherios Michalopoulos
