Nancy is an Assistant Professor of Cardiology at Dalhousie University. After completing her MD and cardiology training at Dalhousie, she spent 16 years as Consulting Staff at the Dartmouth General Hospital, while also running a private practice. In 1998 she joined the Division of Cardiology at the QEII Health Sciences Centre. During her career, she has had extensive involvement in Continuing Professional Development, both locally and with the Canadian Cardiovascular Society. Appointed to the Board in January 2011, Nancy brings her enthusiasm, expertise and experience in heart disease in women,disease prevention and patient advocacy.
